    For those who enjoy being near the exciting shopping, entertainment, and nightlife that downtown Oklahoma City has to offer while living in a laid-back and relaxing, tree-lined neighborhood, Historic Crown Heights is for you. Crown Heights is a quiet neighborhood with an easy commute to work. Residents enjoy strolls through the neighborhood, outdoor activities, social activities within the community, and playing at Crown Heights Park.

    Architectural styles range from Colonial, Tudor, Spanish, and Classic/Traditional. The development of Crown Heights began in 1930 by G.A. Nichols with plans including one-story and two-story homes, duplexes, and apartments. Today Crown Heights is part of the Historic Preservation (HP) and Historic Landmark Overlay Districts which preserve places and areas of historical, cultural, architectural, engineering or archaeological significance throughout Oklahoma City.

    One of the best pizza places on Western Avenue is The Wedge Pizza. If you familiar with Western Avenue in Oklahoma City, you will know that this area is really developing into a special niche area of shopping, dining and nightclubs. Most of the businesses in this area locally owned Oklahoma businesses and restaurants. If you are with me looking at homes in Mesta Park and Crown Heights, don't be surprised if I arrange for us to stop for lunch at The Wedge on Western!
